Collaboration in Kivra

Collaboration in Kivra previously involved users sharing their entire inbox, which contained sensitive information such as tax declarations, payslips, and medical appointments.

Recognizing the importance of personal privacy, we understood that sharing an entire inbox was not appropriate for every user or relationship. This insight led to the development of Shared Folders, allowing users to selectively share specific documents.

As the lead UX designer, I guided the entire process from initial research through to the successful launch of this feature to our 6 million users.

A smart premium service

Kivra Plus was a premium service offering users access to exclusive features beyond Kivra's standard offerings through a subscription. When I joined the team, most features were already developed, and my role focused on designing the conversion funnel, including onboarding and offboarding, as well as identifying contextual, non-intrusive opportunities to educate and encourage user conversions.

The challenge was to optimize conversions while maintaining a friendly and non-intrusive approach. With 6 million users representing the entire Swedish population, prioritizing clear UX writing, engaging illustrations, and an accessible information architecture was essential to ensure ease of understanding and a positive user experience.

The focus of this project was to propose how novice gardeners might be empowered to grow food and to simplify the process of learning how to do so. The solution is an app and community that increases connections between local people and helps growers help each other.

Its main functions are: A format for learning together with others, a mutual favours marketplace and a library where people can share and search local knowledge.

Cut aims to make the most of "learning online" by setting your devices in a locked learning mode during a learning session. The locked mode removes all distractions and ability to waste time on unwanted online activity. It empowers users to take control of their time and invest it in meaningful learning.

The app also breaks the users current filter bubble which is a result of personalized content and advertisement. By running its searches through sets of diverse data profiles it generates diverse information while fully protecting the integrity of the user.

Volvo Sense - A car-share that support people to be human beings instead of human doings

Volvo sense is a premium shared commute service, a level 5 automated car, electrically driven that fits two people at a time.

The core of the in-car experience is that the user controls their sensory input to a much higher degree than currently. Depending on what mode is chosen the in-car setting changes in a subtle way. The color of the light, the scent and subtle audio feedback. To further give some control back to the user and keep it a premium experience, there are social preferences to be chosen when and if sharing the ride with a stranger.

This was a ten week project with Volvo to explore what Wellbeing 5.0 will mean for them by 2030.
